$Tank has been thriving in Aotearoa since 1998, with over 90 stores across the country. When we began working with Tank we recognised that the brand, cherished by many, had become disconnected from the younger audience. So, we set out to redefine Tank's positioning to engage our most social media-conscious generation yet. Initially conceived as a campaign, "Sip Smart, Live Well" rapidly transitioned into a complete reinvigoration of the Tank brand.

The project was initiated with a menu re-shoot, showcasing the natural vibrancy of the product. It was complemented by an update in brand colours, broadening the original orange-forward palette, a new type system and a strong shift in tone of voice. Forming a new, Gen Z-oriented, version of Tank.
We rolled this campaign out to social media, in-store touchpoints, widow decals, EDM’s, packaging and more. Welcome to the new Tank era.
